When flying formation aerobatics, you're working to stay in (or get back into) position 99% of the time. It's rare for the entire formation to fall perfectly into place, where the team truly becomes one. This episode of "The Horsemen Cometh" is about that pursuit for perfection and the never-ending challenges the team faces, when outside factors can change and dramatically alter everything in a split second.
Hey guys, yet another fantastic insight into the workings of a World Class act !.
If its any consollation, your constant practice, practice, practice makes for an extremely slick
performance for us guys who are sat on the ground watching !.
The Horseman routine reminds me of an Iceberg.... a few percent above the water line is what the
general public see....and 95 percent plus is all behind the scenes work which until the advent of
the Horsemen and the these absolutely great mini-movies that you share with us, we never get to see
or hear about. You are without doubt a real 'breath of fresh air' to the airshow scene, both in the
act...definately 'The coolest !... and the way you share your 'secrets' with us (no other display
team does that...Red Arrows ?....nope, Blue angels ?....nope, any-one else ?....nope !) and I for
one am forever indebted to you.
Once again, thanks guys, fly safe you keep practicing !.
Respect
Gary
Incredible video!
Another great video and I think Geedee's iceberg analogy is pretty apt. Another is the swan - it
looks so graceful as it moves across a lake but you can't see paddling like mad under the water!
Watching the in cockpit footage from Legends 09 makes the viewer realise just how hard you guys are
working to appear tight, smooth and in sync from the spectators POV!
Hairy moment with the 'rogue' Spitfire - and as Geedee also said, sharing it with us makes the
Horsemen unique amongst display teams.
Keep up the great work.
Powerful stuff guys. Ed, yet another amazing video. I know this is a continuous theme but they're
all so amazing. Thank you for allowing us to share your world with you guys. Blue Skies fella's!
Wow! That might be the best one yet. Its hard for the person on the ground to get where y'all are
up there. The mindset is unrecognizable to most of us. I got tears watching the last few minutes
of the film.
Stay safe, we love you guys!
Fantastic video, you guys are fantastic. Would love to see more in cockpit footage as it really
shows just how much work it is to stay in formation with each other. Remarkable.
Regards.
I find these guys an awesome example of teamwork excellence! Not only do they show us all their
professionalism for that which they love, but a lifes lesson on the whole "teammanship" theory that
we must all practice and perform on a daily basis to survive. Thanks to You three! A salute to You!
such a powerful video.. great job once again
