Horsemen GML Video

Uploaded By: Ed Shipley 10/17/2007

Getting two P-51 Mustangs to stay within 3-5 feet of each other while doing aerobatics is a workout. You can never get it just right. Ever once in a while things click for a moment or two. The planes are frozen together and the earth rotates around. It's magic... Here is a video of Jim Beasley and I flying the Horsemen routine at the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends.

Absolutely wonderful video. I see a full length feature film in the future of the
Horsemen...outstanding stuff!

love the master and commander music for the mustang

Steven King 10/18/07 4:24AM

What planes were you flying Ed? Noticed one with DDay stripes and one without DDay stripes.. I
believe Jim said BE was out of action..

This 2 1/2-min. video is a work of art as is the Horsemen routine itself! What is the classical
music used? I like your original soundtrack, too; both fit your demo equally well. I won't hesitate
to show the new video to my nonflyer girlfriend.

AMAZING AS USUALLY! JB and Ship bring a whole new meaning to Precision flying!

PS - Steven, Twilight Tear was being used by Ship during the performance.

balsadust 10/18/07 7:03AM

Shipley used Twilight Tear on Saturday, On Sunday he used Crazy Horse, If you watch the video there
is times when you see him in Tear and time you see him in Horse. I missed Friday's performance so I
don't know which airplane Ed used on Friday. Hope this helps.

I want to learn how to play the cello. The music is elegant like the Mustangs.

What a beautiful ballet in the air & I'm so impressed with who picks the music for your videos - you
have a wonderfull culturally sensitive side... :)

gbalzhiser 10/22/07 8:53PM

Bach was a great choice.

Biminibill 10/23/07 3:14AM

Classical music will help my Slovak girlfriend "accept" my love of warbirds (hopefully). Biminibill
