1st Heritage Flight Vid

2003, and one of the very best aviation videos I have ever seen.

As a longtime military aviation enthusiast and veteran of the Air Force and ANG; I must say that
this video got me a little choked up. Let us never forget.

WOW! What an awesome video. I wish I could show this video to all my students here at Sheppard AFB
the website is blocked on gov. computers).

This video holds such emotion for me. My Dad, a P51 pilot passed away the week after I attended an
air show and saw the Heritage Flight for the first time. In addition, his grandson, a USAF Capt. was
at that time flying a A-10. To see those two birds together in the sky was an awesome sight.

This really brings back some memories. I was stationed at Luke AFB from 54 to 57. I worked in the
Academic squadron film library. We would show 16mm films of old air to air and air to ground gunnery
from WWII to new student pilots coming in for training. I would estimate that I saw that film about
3 times a week and never got bored with it. The T-Birds were flying the F86 when I was there, then
they moved on to Nellis AFB to fly bigger birds.

I love this video and this song! I've only seen a few Heritage Flights but each time tears come to
my eyes as I think of the symbol of hope, power, and security those planes provided for the troops
on the ground, no matter what time period. This video represents why we can't put an end to air
shows. Thanks and Keep Them Flying!

Absolutely have fallen in love with this song, and Heritage Flight. I get a little teary whenever I
see HF at an airshow. Just wish that I could download the video and post it elsewhere.

Just a perfect meld of music and video.

Every time I watch this video or see the flight in person I get choked up. It tugs at my heart even
more then Amazing Grace played with Bagpipes. Its hard for me not to want to cry tears of joy. My
heart longs to be in the air, and start to smile and think of the pride I have in the armed
services. I love my country, and those who still defend her no matter what branch.Even though I was
in the Army, I only wish I could have flown the F15 just once. I could die a happy man.

This is one of the greatest vidoes ever!!! I absolutely love this song!! Like most everyone else, I
get teary eyed when I hear this song and watch the HF!! Thank you so much to everyone who has
fought for our freedom!!!!! I agree with Jcomeau, I wish I cold post it on a site. I need to try to
find this song!!!!!!!

This video is amazing! It about brings a tear to my eye to see where we have come from to where we
are now and the great people who were apart of it. Great Video!

I work on the T-38 flightline at CAFB MS and am a member of the MS national guard and would love a

I absolutely love the Heritage Flights when I attend the airshows....my dad(Air traffic control) and
uncle (military police) served in the Air Force. My dad was in Vietnam and my uncle was in Ramstien
and they both loved the heritage flight at MacDill AFB when the P-51, F-15 and the F-4 took to the
skies. It brought tears to their eyes and made them proud. It also brought a tear to my eye along
with goosebumps when they flew by every time. It was absolutely a show stopper when they flew. I

This video is OUTSTANDING! I recently saw a Heritage flight at the Great State of Maine Airshow and
heard the Song "We Remember" along with the flight. I was looking up info on that song when I came
across this video. Is there any way I can get a copy of it? I would gladly pay any fee associated
with it. I thing this is a fantastic video. Great Job on the video. Thank you.

I'd love to have a copy of the video, also. Please let me know if it's available. My Dad built the
P-38 at Lockheed in the 1940s, along with my Mom. Dad went on to work at Northrop, with the T-38
and F-5 as his last two planes. He was an A&E mechanic, licensed in 1941, and was rejected for the
Navy after Pearl Harbor because he was working the line at Lockheed - essential personnel. The
Heritage Flights always remind me of him, and the remarkable times my parents lived through.

Great video. When I watch the Heitage Flight at a show, it gets so quiet I think you could here a
pin drop in the grass.
