This was one of the best small airshows I've been to in a while. I was very excited to see 2 P-51s on the ramp and found out they were doing the the Horseman act. This wasn't posted online, so I almost had a heart attack when I walked up to the ramp and saw them. I met Ed for the first time, but caught him at a bad time, so didn't talk too long, but great guy and he gave me an ASB patch. This was the first time I've seen the Horseman act and was very insirped by it, just amazing flying by both Ed and Dan. Thx guys!!!!!!!!! Also, this was my friends first airshow, and I told him he was very lucky this was his first show. Great show overall! Here are a few pics, more to come later.

What a gem of an airshow!! My first time there. CEO and Founder Steve Dean has had this show since 2000. He introduced me to Vetran Air boss Bob Dunn - and Lt. Colonel Jim Marks AF Reserve for the Military portion. A morning low ceiling prevented the F-16's, B-1, B-2 , A-10's and Greg Shelton (FM-2 Wildcat) from coming in. Still plenty of birds in a beautiful setting. and two Mustangs !!!!!!! The Horseman act was worth it alone!!!!!!! + Jan Collmer, Paul Fiala, John MacGuire, Spanky Galloways pitts special....I know I'm leaving out some!!!!
$10.00 a carload...had to look for someone to pay! At noon it basically shuts down for lunch to serve Bar-B-Que. Announcers Jody Pearson and Di Henderson did a great job. Great people, Great hospitality, Beautiful background. Great Planes...did I say 2_Mustangs!!!!!!! I give this show an A+ and putting it on my calender for next year. WAY TO GO TEXAS TECH!!!
