Wonderful weather, wonderful food and wonderful friends. What more could you ask for?! There really is more than corn in Indiana...

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make today a memorable one.

Let's start with two of Walt Gdowski's Stearman.

Thanks for posting pictures so quickly. Thank you, Thank you! I wanted to be there today. I had to choose between friends and airplanes. The friends won - it was their wedding!

I trust you gave the lucky couple a gift certificate for a Discovery Flight?

Great job indy_airfan, the pictures are great. Gotta love the EAA flyins where you get all the variety of aircraft that are in the area, and I love those small aviation events where you can get real close. I remember a time when the local EAA chapter held flyins at New Castle County Airport, and you could walk right to the edge of runway in this little triangle of grass where the taxi ways came off the runway. It was kinda scary when the C-130 from the DE ANG landed though laugh.gif .

Thanks for the kudos. It was really a neat time. I heard a lot of interesting back-stories about some of the aircraft. Someone needs to write them all down and publish a book. Then again...

A great big shout out to all of the volunteers who made the event possible. Here's proof that everybody was willing to lend a hand.
