I arrived at the Beach at 1 PM. The Collaborators started to perform. The Osprey did several flybys and so did Virgin America (this was a surprise).

Yes they did. Very nice performance dedicated to their missing team members.

Was happy to learn that the SB's flew....I just posted a question on the SB section of the site asking if they were grounded or not.
Am happy they flew, as I was planning to go and see the year end show in Moose Jaw,SK.

I watched the Snowbirds from Alcatraz with a heavy heart today. The lighting was rough there for photography, but the view of the Snowbirds, and the city by the bay, was beautiful.

I just returned home from spending the evening in San Francisco with my family. Unfortunately, due to late dinner reservations we missed the Meet and Greet with the Blues at 7:15. If anyone has any pictures, can you post some. Thank you.

Something fun...

My cousin-in-law, Bobby Rosas, is a member of the Golden Gate Garrison, 501st Stormtrooper Legion (www.goldengategarrison.com). They make personal appearances and were present on Sunday at San Francisco International Airport for the United Airlines Fleet Week Employee Event. They had pictures taken with the Blue Angel Pilots and Fat Albert Crews.

That is one of my favorite shots ...

Thanks It was a great spot to shoot from until a big sailboat anchored right in front of us. Some of our great shots include a big fat blurred mast Still got a few despite all the masts.

Very nice shot!!!
I was at the end of the pier that was at show center. I was shooting both stills and video. If you were there, I had the large tripod with equally large video camera.
