Can anybody point me to any instructions on how you insert pics into these posts, rather than having them show up as a link to somewhere? I would like to post some of mine from Friday/Saturday and have not done this before. Thanks,

You can attack them as a file in the Attach File feature or link them to a website such as webshots or similar.
