The airboss was great, asking for photo passes after each act and then going on to ask for lower, closer photo passes. My kind of guy!
We did get treated to some interesting formations. Early Saturday the Wildcat flew on the wing of the Mustang and later the Mustang flew off of the Avenger. So much traffic came into the airport that things actually started to get a bit dicey. A Cherokee cut off the Avenger on short final and forced them to go around. There were a lot of interesting homebuilts/experimentals present too.
Did anyone else see the Mustang dive from behind and overhead the crowd Sunday? I thought that was pretty cool.
Thinking ahead, I think the show should plan for a larger crowd bathroom and vendor wise. I heard many food places were sold out on Saturday. I think they should really try for more military support, a single ship demo could make or break the show. Also, a little detail, but it'd be nice to have the warbirds circle behind the crowd for their passes instead of flying two miles in front before turning back in. I hope to see the show back next year!
Thank you to Greg Morehead, Brett Hunter, Will Ward, Jim Greeson, and anyone that may have slipped my mind! You guys are awesome.
