Number 5 did an awesome high speed pass right on the water, it was unbelieveable, if I ever meet him in person the first round is on me!

Great practice today.. the sky sucked.. but I made the best of it.

Good seeing you again Fred!

Canadian F-18 popping a little vapor bubble on his high speed pass...

Bert taking the stage..

TIGHT!!!!

I never get tired of this shot..

Major vap during the Echilon...

#5 hair on fire, coming in hot!! I haven't seen them do the high speed pass this low at Jones Beach before..

Looking forward to tomorrow.. hopefully the weather holds out.

Thanks for looking!

BTW.. I am the same Dan N. that posted here last year.. for some reason, I cannot retrieve my old password/login info, and when I submitted my email for recovery, it never came.. so I re-registered.

Yowzer... Great shot.. What is that bridge to the north? I dont remember ever seeing that before.. I will be leaving home about 5:30-6am to get up there hopefully by 7:30-8am.. Since there is 50% chance of storms, I will be doing photos instead of video.. See everyone tomorrow if I can find anyone through the crowd..

Great shots Chris!

I was there and it was the lowest high speed pass I've ever seen from the Blues. I was looking for a wake on the water!

You better hope the Air Boss isn't looking at those Blues solo pics because that can cause a sh*storm. May not be a wise idea to post those...even though that's a crazy pass.

I was finally able to get out of work and head out to the terminal and take some test shots with my new Canon. The images seem a little soft to me. Might need to tweak some settings. Just some static shots. Nothing special here compared to the above beach shots. Anyway, at least with this camera, I'll attempt my first aerial shots this weekend.

Adrian - It's likely more about the angle and the visual reference(s) that we wouldn't normally have at a base. The Blues pulled several really tight sneaks down at Andrews a few weeks back that were just as close, but with little visual reference to give it the same impact.

Don't need any sh*tstorms!

Chris.
