The Public Relations Portfolio Class at the American University School of Communication has taken on a semester-long project about Nancy Lynn. The goals: find ways to memorialize Nancy and do fundraising for my college fund. Their most recent initiative is changing the name of Bay Bridge Airport in Stevensville, MD to Nancy Lynn Memorial Airport. Bay Bridge was Nancy?s home base and the base of operations for her aerobatic flight school, Lynn Aviation, for over a decade. A petition has been created by the students and is available to sign online. This petition will be shown to the Airport Board at their next meeting, where they will decide on the name change. Please sign the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/nlynn001/petition.html.

QUOTE Sadly some county bureaucracy and difficulties with the airport board have put the airport renaming project at a standstill. I'm afraid bureaucracy is responsible for a lot of time-wasting, so sorry to hear about these petti-fogging delays. I saw Nancy Lynn at the Langley Air Show, and enjoyed her show greatly. She won't be forgotten.
