This is incredible. I guess once the speed is high enough, the rear elevons become the wings. Like the pilot said, the wide body of the jet must really help as well. The F-15 will definitely go down in history as one of the greatest fighters ever built.

Discovery had it #2 to the Mustang last night and I almost fell off my treadmill, or was it Snort trying to sell the F-86 as higher than four. I think 104 to zero should cover it...hopefully we can get this F-22A or F/A-22 into combat soon before we babble it all the way up to #1 with no combat time.... Max does fly the wings off that dang thing though - impressive.

The video in that episode isnt real its computer generated. Its a great dramitization though. The only real footage are the stills in the end of the segment.
