MAAM posted this on their facebook page this evening:

I just learned that the P-61 will be out of the hangar and on display on the ramp during the show. What's more, she'll have her finished tail booms attached! This is exciting news and will give show-goers a chance to get a 360 degree view of the plane and the progress that has been made since last year.

P-38.....wow! Just a few days ago I started a thread asking where I could see one either on display or in the air and I didn't see any at shows that I would definitely be attending. Seeing a P-38 was my primary goal for this air show season and it looks like one that will be easily achieved. Now I REALLY can't wait for this show.

Seeing both the Spitfire fly and the P38 fly is going to be awesome.. Not that the others wont be awesome to see, The Spitfire and P38 are rare to see fly..

I updated the list now as well and will continue to do so.. P51D Gentleman Jim was removed and the P51D Old Crow was added. The D3A was added as well..

Now that's an intense lineup!! Looks like i'll definitely have to go no matter what, no excuses this time! If i'm willing to drive 5 hours all the way to Geneseo for the all warbird airshow, then I can't miss this one for sure. This year would be my first time ever visit to WWII Weekend. And i'll have to agree that it is not often you'd get to see a P-38 fly now these days.

LOL at myself! Seeing the P-38 fly will definitely be a real treat for me as well. I have seen one or two before but that was a long time ago. Will be making hotel plans this month.

Oh looks like I'll have to try and make it up to Reading this year. I'd love to get an upclose look at a PV-2, and hopefully get to see it fly as well. The fighters are all old hat for me. laugh.gif

OK Marylou, you're on! If you see me there, you owe me something from the food vendors. If not, then I guess i'll have to treat you to something at New Garden, or double that if you don't see me at New Garden and Reading at the same time, but if you spot me at the next show. laugh.gif
